[Solved] Newbie - Remove CD/USB after booting

Post#1 by chkchaitu » 06 Apr 2015, 10:53

Hi, Thank you for such a wonderful distro.

I plan to use kiosk in student environment and would like to know if we can remove the boot media after booting. These systems do not have any harddrive and would like to run kiosk from RAM . Firefox will be in fullscreen mode with only one webpage opening by default, which is an internal student information updation system.

hello chkchaitu,

yes - you can remove booting media as kiosk is copied to RAM entirely..
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
