Ping to the Kiosk IP? [Solved]

Post#1 by Dogwalker » 13 Mar 2014, 12:30

I have tried to ping the Kiosk IP address but there is no reply. Is ping reply blocked by Porteus Kiosk?

I can see the DHCP address being allocated by my DHCP server so there must be a network pathway. Ping from that DHCP server gets no reply. I get the same with a fixed IP version of Kiosk.

yes - ICPM protocol is disabled by default because is not needed for browsing.
you can enable it in 003-settings.xzm/etc/rc.d/rc.FireWall.
