Porteus 4 ThinClient - Remmina Share folder issue

Hi guys,

I'm using Porteus Kios ThinClient 4.8. I think there is a bug running Remmina RDP - Windows machine.

ShareFolder options does not work as expected.

- All write options (persistence and USB write support) had been enabled in the Setup.
- Folders and files can be created with no issues.
- However, when a file is being modified, nothing can be save. No changes in the files (0 Kb in a simple txt file).

I had tried saving files into a USB file, also locally into the guess Download folder, with the same issue.

I'm very new using Porteus, sorry if I missed something.

Please help or little guidance how to resolve this issue.

Hello tuxmc,

Please check if this function works properly under Ubuntu.
If yes then i'll do my best to fix it in kiosk.

If it does not work then please report this problem to upstream (remmina) developers as this issue must not be related to our system but rather to this specific application.

Hi Fanthom.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I had tested in several distros the same feature/option and it does work properly (Ubuntu included) at the moment I am working with a Lubuntu distro to workaround this issue.
