Porteus

Hi All,

I am using kiosk for digital signage with a customised build from the Porteus guys to load a chrome app locally.
I have a single player that locks repeatedly at almost the same time.
The hardware is a gen 7 i3 nuc run ning a single screen.
I have at least 5 others running flawlessly some with 2 screens and one in UHD - never an issue.
I have set the device to reboot early in the morning which fixes the issue but would still like to know what could cause this.

I have no logs and when I tail any log file the error seems to occur before it can write.
The screen stays on but is frozen at that instant.
It is playing animated content running on an appspace plugin in Chrome.
My immediate suspicion is appspace but cannot tell conclusively.

Any hints?

Please set full persistence to logs:
persistence=/var/log

and hopefully you'll be able to find the locking reason.

I assume this particular PC is different model than other kiosks which are running ok?
