Hi,
I want to add our network printer to kiosk but i don't really get how :\

I have the ip address and the port but i don't know how to use it on the wizard: its a stand alone printer so referring to the wizard i should use this line

Code: Select all

 lpd:/ipadd/queue
but which queue ? i don't know where to find this value :wall:

thanks for help.

queue is not a variable. just fill in IP address like:

Code: Select all

lpd://192.168.1.7/queue

Hi fanth,

It works, i am now able to print over the network printer, BUT the printer is going crazy ! if i print 1 page he prints about 500 pages with white sheets or some ASCII code...
Here is the cups informations about the printer, actually my printer is a TOSHIBA e-STUDIO2555C, but i can choose only the Toshiba eSTUDIO180S in the wizard.

It's probably the driver incompatibility that causes this. Any way i can add the driver by manipulating the iso ?

Thank you.

next kiosk release will be pushed soon so if you could tell me where did you download these PPDs then perhaps i could add them to the wizard.
