Here Today, Gone..Today?

Post#1 by bluemax » 16 Jan 2015, 18:21

Hello Folks. First off. The kiosk is a simply beautiful piece of work.
Simple. Quick. Neato.

I do have an issue, that I just can not wrap my head around.
Installing 3.2 kiosk on an old Dell Optiplex.
When running the wizard. Dhcp. no proxy. Gook.
Customizations. Set home page. ok. Open in firefox to test. Webpage loads fine.
Awesome. Finish. Burn to disc.

Remove install media, boot to the install.

Network Connection could not be made.
Hrmm.

It worked fine during the setup.. Now thats it been burned to disc.. network no longer works?
Any suggestions?

hi bluemax,

is this wired or wireless connection? are you able to recreate this issue?
if yes then please enable 'debug mode' in the wizard -> install kiosk once again -> after boot take a photo of the 'LSPCI' and 'LSMOD' parts of the report -> send them to support@porteus-kioks.org

thank you
