Hi everybody,

I am facing a strange problem with PXE boot.

My actually confuguration work with all computer i try but not with my Intel NUC DN2820FYK, which i buy specially for it :(

It just show "Starting Porteus Kiosk Edition <http://www.porteus.org>" with unlimited blinking underscore

I tried with verbose initrd.xz, and i see it stuck at : udhcpc (v1.21.1) started

I check dsmasq log file here var/log/daemon.log and last line before stop is :

May 22 14:49:55 porteus-pxe dnsmasq-tftp[22908]: envoyé /home/escadmin/library-pxe/isorw/boot/pxelinux.cfg/initrdpxe.xz à 10.98.30.180

Maybe it's missing firmware for Intel UNDI , PXE-2.1 (build 803) --- Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Series v2.59 (01/13/14) in intrdpxe.xz ? I have absolutly no idea how to find and add missing one inside  (even if i found this script SECTION III UPDATING INITIAL RAMDISK FOR PXE BOOT

The strange thing is, in more than 50 boot try, it already load module and boot great a couple of time :fool:

Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.
Erwann

Sorry for this noob question but i'am totally lost with 3.1
I'am just trying to get generated iso but i couldn't .
If if put another usb stick (fat32 or ntfs) or usb cd burner , target device windows found me nothing ... only blank .
If i choose skip i see Porteus Kiosk 3.1 ISO was created as /mnt/kiosk.iso but how easily get this .iso file ? :unknown:
Sftp ? (login ? Password ? )

Maybe you can send me your uptodate initrdpxe.xz so i can make some test ?

Thanx

"If if put another usb stick (fat32 or ntfs) or usb cd burner , target device windows found me nothing ... only blank ."
i think i will have to add a 'refresh' button which will scan available devices once again. for now please boot kiosk with your usb stick plugged in and that should work.
btw: burning on a CD wont be supported as it's too risky process.

you could login to your email account (like gmail) and upload it through it. tested and works ok.
will add this info to the wizard.

"Maybe you can send me your uptodate initrdpxe.xz so i can make some test ?"
please grab it manually from here:
http://porteus-kiosk.org/public/
mind that it must be used with Kiosk 3.1

thanks for your valuable feedback.
