installing porteus 4.8

I'm trying to install v 4.8 on a dell desktop and I can't get by the initializing connection before firefox install. It keeps counting down telling me porteus isn't available and more time is need to initialize the connection. When I install version 3.7 on the same machine the kiosk loads just fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I have a link light on my ethernet port however I'm not sure if the problem is driver related? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello sgrams,

Please ensure that system time is correct. Wizard has an option to set the hardware clock.
