USB Passthrough in Citrix Receiver

Hi,

I'm testing Porteus-Kiosk 4.6.0. I've included the Citrix Receiver and I can connect to my virtual desktop just fine. There doesn't seem to be an option to enable USB Passthrough. Nothing happens when I plug a USB device in.

Ideally I'd like to be able to do some sort of raw USB passthrough and the drivers would be installed on the virtual desktop rather than struggling with installing device drivers to Porteus-Kiosk.

I can do this with the Citrix Receiver on my Windows computer. Is this possible with the Linux version?

Thanks

David

USB Passthrough in Citrix Receiver

Post#2 by fanthom » 08 Jun 2018, 11:52

Hello David,

USB pass-through is enabled by default but it does not work reliably for storage devices.

My Kingston Data Traveler was listed in Citrix session but I was not able to read from it as device wass reset every few seconds:

Please try under Ubuntu or any other Linux and let me know if you were able to get usb passthrough working (it could be a Receiver bug).
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
