New features implemented in Porteus Kiosk ISO/web wizard.

Hi guys,

In last two days we have pushed 3 new features to our Kiosk web wizard:

a) Added possibility of enabling incoming ICMP protocol. Outgoing ICMP is still blocked. This is useful when you want to monitor remotely if kiosk is up and running with the ping utility:


b) Added possibility of hiding the URL/address bar. This is very handy as all other buttons stays in place so it's possible to navigate back and forth, zoom-in, zoom-out, print, etc but it's not possible to switch to any other webpage.


c) As per latest bug report we have added the possibility of controlling numlock behavior:


I have also made a bunch of kiosk screenshots which should help the wizard users to better understand which option enables which function. This will hopefully lower amount of ISOs generated unnecessarily and save your time spend on setting up the kiosk. Waiting on Hamza to implement this request in the web wizard.

As usual - please post bug reports and feature requests and we will do our best to make Porteus Kiosk even better

In case of troubles with PXE booting please generate new Kiosk ISO and check if that helps. if wont - please post bug report as usual.
