Try just disabling the Secure Boot option and not using the Legacy option.
secure boot is disabled. EFI does not work, too. I think this kind of hopeless case. Thanks anyway for all the advises.
cheers.

prevent access to internal harddisk of the PC

In the final note there is a hint that there are more info on kernel.org/doc/Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt, this link...

Re: Install Porteus on SD card

I am desperate, trying FAT32 takes me indeed to the boot menu from Porteus (where you can choose to boot graphical, copy2ram, fresh etc.), but after choosing whatever menu, it tells me system cannot find porteus-v4.0-x86_64.cfg. The problem may lay in the device's name, mmcblk0. The Porteus installe...

Re: Install Porteus on SD card

Hi, I tried to do it from scratch as instructed here for Linux, but when executing the Porteus-installer-for-Linux.com, it ends up with error code 2, here the debug.txt: device: /dev/mmcblk0 partition: /dev/mmcblk0p1 partition number: p1 partition mount point: /mnt/mmcblk0p1 installation path: /mnt/...

Re: Install Porteus on SD card

Yes, I have read and followed the instruction in USB_INSTALLATION.txt, and also in /boot/docs/install.txt. This works fine for usb flash drive, and I already play around with Porteus booted from usb drive for a while. But it does not work for SD card. What is the difference and what do I have to adj...

Dear Porteus Experts, Is there any quick installation guide how to do it? Re: KeePassXC

@Ed: Yes, keepassx works for me, but its latest version 2.0.3 was more than two years ago, and I like to try the new one which has active development, keepassXC is a fork and actively maintained. @AcnapyxoB and ncmprhnsbl: thanks a lot for your advises. It works great for me. The only drawback I see...

KeePassXC

Dear All, Does anyone have or know where to download this module? I tried myself at least 10 times with USM but get most of the time LIBS.txt error. It seems to depend on which dependency packages I choose. Finally I have a working xzm, but it’s bigger than 130mb, for keepassxc a weird big size. Tha...

Re: prevent access to internal harddisk of the PC

@AcnapyxoB: noauto wouldn´t really help, since it just "..does not mount any devices during startup. Every disk needs to be mounted manually in order to access it". The internal hard drive can still be mounted by accident or a malware. I am looking for an option to deny access on kernel level. I kno...
