Nemisis-the God of retributive Justice

re-creating the wheel Controversial statment... :) It's more of a logical step to me. Slowing down development to warrant stability is respectable but you can't freeze progress forever... From my POV, migrating from Slackware to Arch is a rough move , thought every time Nemesis heads out of his nic...

Trying to mimic the frost/blurry glass effect from Deepin Desktop on whiskermenu.

I'm very pleased with my batcave. :)

Indeed. Cout me in I've been using it for several months now, and nothing else . No need to install. Runs fast, and with the addition of AppImages/Flatpaks, you can get a full working system. You got kernels from Neko , OpenRC with Artix repos and a monthly update by ncmprhnsbl (I almost wrote it ri...

Read online files

I seem to remember encountering a posting that someone's script was able to read the contents of online files, zips and isos, without downloading them first. Now I can't find it. I'm not even sure it wasn't a Windows app/capability. Did I dream this or is it possible? Maybe you mean this po...

Hi Kulle.

Doesn't work for me either, althought with a different error:

Code: Select all

./scribus-1.5.4-linux-x86_64.AppImage: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libfontconfig.so.1: undefined symbol: FT_Done_MM_Var
Will look into it because I'm too interested in Scribus.

Thanks for reporting it.

Cheers!

take a look at <install_media>/config/network file.. I have Ignore=yes in that file. Should I set my network there or can I configure the network options under <install_media>porteus/porteus-v4.0-x86_64.cfg file? Which one is to be parsed at boot / overwritten? How can it be automatically set? Thanks

Making porteus better: what is your wishlist

I'm missing gnome-disk-utility (preferred) / gparted
grsync
and a cloud service, speaking of what... I think a common cloud storage mirroring for skeleton, kernels and base modules would be fine, making users import to their account, should it be the same...

MEGAcmd anyone?
