Thank you neko... Is it possible to convert .txz to .xzm in Porteus? I am compiling "hardened" binaries/libraries for the Porteus toolchain (005-devel.xzm)? Also... (I hope I'm not pushing my luck but after I was hacked last year I don't trust my hardware) could you edit the /boot/syslinux/porteus.c...

Sorry I meant... Netsurf.
XFCE alternative?

Neko all my gear is 64 bit. Do you have a 64 bit APorteus (EDE + PEKWM)?

XFCE alternative?

PyPanel sounds like a plan because it only uses Python.
Tint2 and fbpanel unfortunately... use GTK.

Seriously or "FUD"?

@ Libreboot they are very serious... I wanted to use something more powerful than the X200 and my update service chewed me out Richard Stallman style. The Libreboot project is totally hostile to binary blobs. These guys read me the riot act (so I had to compromise)... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2321791...

(along with gtk2 and gtkdialog on which they depend)
Is it possible to redo Porteus dialog to use FoX toolkit?
If yes... who might have this knowledge (...that I don't)?

I am currently struggling to compile FXDE but my fear is...
when I am successful I will have no (FoX) dialogs.
