src2pkg -O -VV -i='make -i install' "source".tar.gz
This particular source does not compile
with the "clean directory" switch (-O).

I removed it and... problem solved.

Thanx... I will give that a try. I assume you are using the default src2pkg.conf?

Re: "BadUSB" immune devices...

You can find one of the link's in Evan's post. Also the links in the original post.

As for the links with a "webwarper" prefix remove the url prefix first.

Re: "BadUSB" immune devices...

In the case of Coreboot/Libreboot (eg... Chomebook/Lenovo X200 ThinkPad) ... this is trusted firmware which protects the device @ boot. As for USG it stops unauthorized USB writes to the attached device's firmware/microprocessor. And "locked" USB adapters only allow charging devices while blocking a...

Re: General discussion : Porteus alternative package manager

@ Falcony... those are some very interesting points. What is your point of view on hardening Porteus binaries? (@ least... the toolchain aka "05-devel.xzm") With the exception of Slackware (perhaps a few others)... most major distros have some form of hardening. Would'nt "hardening" increase package...

Re: Mission, goals and mean: working toward a better porteus

@ Falcony... two ways could produce proper modules for porteus - and you know what they are: slackbuilds builded on porteus or pkg2src. Would the roadmap (NOT wishlist) include a src2pkg "hardened" toolchain? With the exception of upstream (Slackware) all major distros already have one. Maybe?... it...

I will soon post a deprecated 001-core.xzm (gcc... glibc... elf... binutils...) and 05-devel.xzm "hardened" toolchain . It will more or less use the same "config". That post will occur after t...
