sudoers.d Not Working

On my Porteus, root can adjust brightness with: $ echo 9000000 > /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness On Mint, this works to make brightness adjustable by non-root users. Fails on Porteus: $ sudo visudo -f /etc/sudoers.d/brightness Paste into editor: ALL ALL = (ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/tee...

Why Not pkexec?

hi, why does root thunar launcher use
/opt/porteus-scripts/xorg/psu "dbus-launch --exit-with-session thunar %F"

instead of
pkexec thunar

BUG: [Solved] Fix Quotes on US Keyboard

i may be incorrect, but i think during installation, Porteus asked me keyboard or location.

recovered net by typing nm-applet at command prompt.
it auto-connected, then on reboot connected again.
no need to delete autosave.

for update, go to system > porteus settings centre > porteus updater
