Re: USM bug reports

if we store in user/usm, will it be independent then? After a change with the GUI to "/root/usm/" it looks like this: # usm.conf - Configuration for Unified Slackware Manager (usm) # # Resolve dependencies for all packages # Set this to true or false (never uncomment this) RESOLVE=true # The automat...

[FAA] Save changes-module in the PSC

No check if we are out of disk space in the process of saving the todays system-changes to folder "modules", Result is 2 bad tings: a script will hang, so the save session eat up 50-99% CPU and that will never finish/end it self, even after psc is closed. ("killall save-session" , is that the correc...

Re: 3.0.1 support

I guess it can be a good idea to check out some security pages, I dont know where the best place would be for that , Brokenman, what do you suggest for 3.01 users besides USM? This seems to be a better place, compared to not look at all. :-) ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/slackware-14.1/ChangeLo...

Re: 3.0.1 support

I assume we can download and use stuff here http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware/patches/packages/ to keep our 3.01 running safer? Latest (today) Firefox from that list: http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware/patches/packages/mozilla-firefox-31.4.0esr-i486-1_slack14.1.txz

Re: 3.0.1 support

yes I also lost this toolbar association, Lynx text browser appears instead in the toolbar, but firefox are in the "internet"-menu as normal, so I restored that toolbar link, it was just a rightclick there and chose the "Application Launch bar settings", then Just add Firefox again , from the "inter...

Re: 3.0.1 support

Did you loose your history and bookmarks, plugins too? I did. But I then could restore the bookmarks from the backup html-export that I made before this test of updating the core-folders firefox module. Anyway, it seems to work great now, even better than before. I also updated my flashplayer to Ver...

Re: Teamviewer module

I did not have success with the normal "portable" way of doing it.. That is, Just click on the teamviewer-file in the folder and run it, if everything is included in the extracted folder I did hope it would work, but did not. (LXDE 3.01 in "copy2ram" , uptime 35 days with the new 3.1-core, new bash,...
