BlueMenta then (Widget=theme) from mate DE
When I built Mate I like the themes so I copy them when I built LXDE.

And I'm using FireFox ESR v 52.5.2

@Jack, what is the gtk theme you are using? (check with lxappearance)
Not sure about this gtk theme
In Widget it is BlueMenta
In Icon Theme it is Vibrancy-Color-Dark
in Window Border it is Clearlooks

Lxde DE Module Build

I build a new LXDE today and with ncmprhnsbl new base modules. I try to use update-cache but when I boot up it won't let me boot in to Text mode. What I mean is when I pick Text mode it boots in to LXDE.

What can I do to fixed the problem?

Modules can not be started in Porteus 4.0

You have to download then use txz2xzm FreeImage-3.17.0-x86_64-2_slonly.txz to make the module.

Yet another GIMP alternative...

I just ran it in my LXDE with no problems. I had to start it from LXTerminal by typing redera.

Jack, you could then also put both mate and lxde in base and use noload=lxde load=mate cheatcodes to boot to mate and noload=mate load=lxde to boot to lxde. Can they both share the changes folder ? It has to be that way. Like this PROMPT 0 TIMEOUT 90 UI vesamenu.c32 DEFAULT GRAPHICAL MENU BACKGROUN...

the only difference between the two systems would be the 003 file and the /modules folder, right?
The only difference is 003 module. Everything else is the same even the modules folder.

Sounds like an interesting project. Curious what your plan is to get it to work. :)
I want to use this a demo USB to show people what Linux is all about. That way I won't need two USB and they can do the same.

Porteus-v4.0rc4 bug reports

Openbox 32-bit epdf viewer: If a pdf document contains .jpg images, they are not shown in the viewer. Cannot get kmap=gb to work. Even setting the keymap in porteus-settings-centre does not retain the setting between boots. Thanks for the test file with the 4 images and with my builds I can see all...

What are you using as your bootloader?
The first partition will have EFI and boot from the Porteus ISO. The second and third partition will have porteus but they will be rename jack1 and jack2. That the way I want it setup but if it won't work that way I will forger it and use 2 USB.
