I will share m...

Re: LXQt 0.11.1 x64

Regarding "remove file or folder via Delete button from non Linux partition" (gvfs-trash command) - it is because you are guest and your partition owner is root. If you mount it as guest moving files to Trash should work. My ntfs partition is mounted at boot time and I can't change its owner without...

Re: Firefox always up to date (autd) - i686 & x86_64

My way to keep firefox module up to date (especially for those who don't use changes= cheatcode). If you: 1. use firefox module, 2. you have enabled updates in firefox preferences and 3. user has permissions to write firefox updates (e.g. /opt/firefox-esr), then firefox module can be automatically ...

Re: hibernate function under porteus

I have resumed from hibernation, added some lines to my porteus.cfg (-rw-rw-rw-) and reformatted swap partition to another fs type. Next boot my porteus.cfg have contained everything new (I think ...

Re: Porteus-v3.2.2 bug reports here

1. My SD card is not cleanly unmounted when shutting down: "sync" command should be before "umount -at no,aufs, devtmpfs, proc, sysfs" in /etc/rc.d/rc.6. 2. nmapplet shows connection even if it is stopped i.e. my network provider requires capcha code after specified time. It is kernel related, for old ...
