Problem with LIBS.TXT

"Could not find LIBS.TXT" This message is a bit misleading, the LIBS.TXT file is in /var/usm/alien/ but the listed version of libreoffice is 6.1.2 not 6.1.4 A correct message would be "could not find libreoffice-6.1.4 in LIBS.TXT" also this file doesn't come from the repo(s) AFAIK they came from so...

Midori does not work

Is there also a possibility to combine several modules into one? Hi Kulle How to merge existing *.xzm files (modules). NOTE all this is done in /tmp Create a folder, any name would do, and put (copy) the xzms you want to merge into that folder. ( e.g. /tmp/bla ) Create a 2nd folder named like the a...

Re: Using ffmpeg to record what comes from the web browser

ERROR: requested format not available
use youtube-dl -F
to get an overview of which formats are available.
also youtube-dl -F --no-playlist can be useful if the video is buried in a playlist.

Re: Using ffmpeg to record what comes from the web browser

@francois --> youtube-dl-gui <-- Hmmm...this tool is written in python.. You need Python and wxpython to make it run with stock porteus 4 ( I did only test if it runs, not if it does its job ) However, these 2 modules sum up to 30 MB -- much to much to just run a Gui for a tool (youtube-dl) which wo...

Re: cannot lock screen

Lock screen Seems it is not included in porteus_4 -- it is in 3.2.2 However you need the xlockmore-5.46-x86_64-1.txz package. But that's not enough, you also need libMagickCore-6.Q16.so.2 which is in imagemagick-6.9.4_9-x86_64-1.txz and libwmflite-0.2.so.7 in package libwmf-0.2.8.4-x86_64-6.txz Extr...
