I suspect you may have been getting at that,

Firefox Developer Edition?

Wifi (indicated as eth0) There is no option to remove/disable any card in the "Network" dialog, how would I rename the interfaces? The "Network Connections" dialog is now empty, as expected. This is above my head. Weird. And unfortunately above my head too at this point. Sorry. Hopefully someone wi...

Firefox Developer Edition?

:hmmm: In your Network Settings check that your Network Proxy is set to none. Try turning off the two WiFi entries and then the Wireless one, rebooting then turn on just the Wireless one. What do you see in the Network window? You mentioned that the top connection drops and connects to the bottom on...

Firefox Developer Edition?

Speaking of surprises. What worked for me is placing the .bz2 file in the /tmp directory and running the update-firefox command but not letting it create the module. Once I had the .tzx, I converted it with the USM:Porteus tools and placed it in the modules folder and activated it. You are working W...

Firefox Developer Edition?

As ncmprhsbl said "download the developer tarball(.tar.bz2) and place it in /tmp". No unpacking, no other directory. If you want to try different steps try them and report your results. :)

Install JDK/OpenJDK and Avahi?

Yup. Been there, done that with the Windows updating of a script. Re: [INFO & SCRIPT] Slackware Mirror Settings for USM (Post by Ed_P #56135)
Recopy and paste it using Porteus and you will be fine.

1. No.
brokenman wrote:

slackware-patches IS slackware.
2. No idea.

3. Probably need something like ISOMaster to edit the ISO.

Why are you using 3.1 rather than 3.2.2?

Too bad you can't mloop the module in Porteus and fix it. why? simply extract it(xzm2dir) and fix that.. Here is the output. of course, because you haven't loop mounted anything i'm using mloop in slackware porteus(i don't think nemesis has it) xzm2dir vs mloop. I think a consistent approach to fix...
