ISO is not expanded. ISO is copied into USB. (using the cheatcode "from=..iso") :o An impressive approach. :happy62: The .efi files from Ubuntu support booting without disabling the EFI Secure Boot function. Do the Debian files support that also? I suspect Windows is unable to access the USB's EFI ...

Just for the record, Porteus does support newer versions of Firefox, and other browsers, Porteus Kiosk does not. :)

Hi Iksnip.

sesm.sh needs to be made executable. Open terminal in the folder where you saved sesm.sh and enter:

chmod  +x  sesm.sh
then run sesm.sh. :)

Sure, just use the Browser Selection and Update Tool. Then remake your CD or boot the ISO with grub2 and boot parms.

Ok, my hard drive is failing on my netbook and I am trying to copy it to a another, used, hard drive. Do I need to fdisk the used hard drive before running the dd copy to it?

RAM is cleared everything the laptop is rebooted or simply turned off. You don't install Porteus to RAM you simply run it from the CD and it executes in RAM. If your laptop supports USB drives I would recommend installing Porteus to a flash drive. Follow the instructions on the CD to do that. What d...
