Hello, In the meantime, I have updated the Samba from DD_WRT. Now I have 3.5.21. And again, I can access the network folder by mount mapping from Porteus 1.2 KDE, also map folder as partition from Windows XP and Windows 7. It works even from Android 2.3.6, 4.04, 4.2.2 using ES Explorer with LAN fold...

@amplatfus If your router has a samba server installed, then it -the samba server- is supposed to serve as interface to windows machines. If you are using a Porteus machine to connect to your server, i don't see what is the samba server for. Maybe you have a windows server and you have samba instal...

The reason of your error in the log come from here. The system is trying to access this file but it's not present or not available which result into an error in log. A quick test showed me that this still works in standard porteus v2.1 without samba installed. Wread's solution above is certainly much more elegant and i would advise using his method if you want to interact and edit files. It is a router. And what have I tried at the first time, in the the same IP range with 17.16, same folder, it is working without any problems. I'm still searching and I will post any update.
