Re: linuxrc - btrfsck command not found
Your linuxrc is working, but only the filecheck will not work. You will have the same affect if you use ext4 instead of btrfs. It is not possible to use changes=... and umount the same partition. But this is the result of noauto. see line 424 for x in `grep /mnt/ /etc/fstab | cut -d/ -f3`; do mkdir ...

Re: linuxrc - btrfsck command not found
It seems that porteus will boot. Is this correct ? Normally it should work without filecheck, (but it is usefull) I think you can disable it provisionally # for x in `blkid | grep 'TYPE="btrfs"' | cut -d: -f1`; do $bcheck --repair $x; echo "Filecheck on $x"; wait; done But i wondering too because i ...

Sie an, sie an, sie an, was treibt ihr euch den in dieser abgelegenden Ecke des forums rum. Was habt ihr den zu verbergen ? Wieso sollte die NSA etwas nicht wissen sollen ? Re: linuxrc - btrfsck command not found
hmm, i copy the btrfs files in usr/bin/ there is also the e2fsck & blkid binary. what are btrfs files ? 1.) I'm not sure but I think, only static binarys work, or binarys that was compiled against uclibc (from initrd). look at the /lib directory of linuxrd /lib dir. 2.) there are a lot of mount --b...

Re: Downloading and installing Truecrypt (step by step)
It is a littlebit offtopic but, what can I expect from VeraCrypt ? when the theorie about TrueCrypt are right, that the TrueCrypt developer get an NSL from USA Goverment and stop working. Then smell VeraCrypt for me at NSA-front-company. How is it possible that VeraCrypt use code from TrueCrypt ? I ...

Re: Downloading and installing Truecrypt (step by step)
about Diskencription on Porteus: On a Linux only System you can use Luks: # encrypting a blockdevice: # <disk> mean a disk partition for example /dev/sdb1. Be carefull all data will lost on this partition. cryptsetup luksFormat /dev/<disk> # open the blockdevice # or better you generate a virtual de...

Re: Autostart a script
I have understand you have done the following steps: cat << EOF > /etc/rc.d/rc.local #!/bin/bash synclient TouchpadOff=1 EOF chmod 0755 /etc/rc.d/rc.local and you have working changes=.. parameter at boot, so your changes are permanent. (or you are using other ways that your changes are permanent.) ...

Re: How to choose a streaming box for your TV
What do you mean with cabel content? No i think no. I have tested normal Internet-TV via Kodi-addons watching on TV-screen. It works fine without problems via DSL->Router->Ethernet, but they are normally not in HD. And I have tested Streaming from TV-Stick (Antenna) and TV-Headend via Ethernet->Rout...

Re: Encrypted .dat file password
I think it miss the hid_apple kernelmodule in initrd. go to a directory were you have write rights and do as root: # prepare replace /mnt/loop/boot/syslinux/initrd.xz to your path of initrd cp /mnt/loop/boot/syslinux/initrd.xz . ; mv initrd.xz oldinitrd.xz # decontain initrd rm -r ./initrd 2>/dev/nu...

1 -2 years before i have build a TV with a Raspberry Pi B and a RTL2832U DVBT-Stick. I pluged in to HDMI, Ethernet and the TV-Stick to Antenna. But I need the MPEG-2 and (or ?)
