We're missing some kernel info (see -v), accuracy might be reduced I fogot to ask earlier, but what remains the reason your run of spectre-meltdown-checker.sh still produces that error? You as our kernel guru, when you are not able to get his error to vanish, then who is? Cause A false sense of sec...
64bit-kernel5.1.4.tar (90 M) Is that one hardened against all issues that spectre-meltdown-checker.sh V0.41 tests against? BTW, according to github.com/speed47/spectre-meltdown-checker you can always get the newest version like so: wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/speed47/spectre-meltdown-che...
^ Thanks for the heads up, but when you recall I not even managed to get a simple kernel compiled without any extra secuity enhancement that would work for my NVIDIA driver for the testing Porteus (you recall the issue with the miss.-matched gcc versions between the kernel and the system + provided ...

Made to accommodate 3D graphics programming, it has an interface to OpenGL, but it is also suitable for general GUI programming. Stable release 1.3.5 (M...

Is seamonkey able to use the local email files and folders of a 52 version based Thunderbird fork? Since I do not have the space for a copy of my whole email folders. And by "use" I not only mean, able to read these, able to write, send, receive emails, but most important, being able to not mess up ...

I don't know the problem. I put in the link with info about the zombieload…. Could you check it with the build example kernel 5.1.3 that was uploaded ? And would you tell me the result ? If I knew about some test that checks for this vulnerability like the heartbleed test script, but for now at lea...
Another way in looking what hogs the CPU is just asking top and only look for the 4 most CPU using processes, or for the 9 most CPU using processes. Why 4 and 9 you might ask. Cause with the header info line that makes 5 or 10 lines of output. Here is the code, by now you should be able to put the i...
Aaaand finally a new entry, since I already posted that is another thread. I use an alias to look for programs that use most RAM or use most CPU. If you want to remove some of the ones I look into - or add some - you have to alter the entries. My current standard is this for Openbox or XFCE and pale...

What do these do?
I use 004-ClipIt-gtk3-1.4.5-x86_64.xzm and it works both in XFCE and Openbox just fine. So no need for at least xfce4-clipman.
Also, I do not find the ISO on https://sourceforge.net/projects/projectignis/
Where is it hidden?
