Porteus

When I tested on the Trinity version of Porteus
I noticed that clicking on the meter didn't work properly.

Clicking on the mixer button did work.

It only took a small change to fix so I did this
and upgraded the version number to 2.9.1

There are two dependencies ---> gegl and babl

They are found in Porteus repository

I don't have internet access so I have to carefully download each package

This restricts what work I can do but I can still do some programming.

I've had to re-upload the Baconrecorder module again due
to lack of interest

It a very useful bit of software.

I didn't write the basic script... a German programmer/musician did that It uses the basic 'split' command. Very simple. There are several files because it is localized and it uses Thunar to show a menu after a right click on a file icon. So it's only about 200 lines of code. Posted after 3 minutes ...

The reason why my package doesn't open or save Jpeg is because it was compiled on Puppy linux. I should have checked this because I have found in past that different version numbers for jpeg libraries cause lots of problems during compiling , mtpaint is a good example. Version 1.5 now supports extracting rpm packages
as well as the usual .pet .xzm .deb


.. and in Trinity version of Porteus you can now drag a package to field
in script.

I only tested it on one package I had so tell me if it works okay.
