Opera 64 (lite version)

My CP command didn't complain about overwriting a file with the same name. you could be right about that... but that raises another question: how/why is the opera.desktop file blocked from appearing when the module is activated? this only happens with opera and palemoon in cinnamon.. Any suggestion...

Opera not recognizing the Flashplayer module Firefox is using!!
i think, opera is based on chromium webengine nowdays, so pepperflash might work..

Opera 64 (lite version)

Downloaded the new module, activated, still no menu item. cinnamon is a bit funny with some .desktop files, it seems. eg. it refuses to recognise palemoon.desktop.. try copying /mnt/memory/images/opera*.xzm/usr/share/applications/opera.desktop to /usr/share/applications/ and see what happens.. (thi...

I'm not including a default home page on purpose. This is not the official Porteus module
the official builder(update-opera) doesn't either, because opera stores this stuff in some way i don't understand...

usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/gschemas.compiled in /usr/share folder,
it may be that you need to recompile these: (i had to do this for xfce4 DE, for drives to display properly)

Code: Select all

# glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas

2019 Updated Nemesis Base Modules

From this update, seems internal partitions can't be mounted if disk-icon is clicked by a regular user. it's working for me... /etc/polkit-1/rules.d contains: 25-guest-mount.rules : polkit.addRule(function(action, subject) { if (action.id.indexOf("org.freedesktop.udisks") == 0) { if (subject.isInGr...

Clearing recently used files history

ok, i guess you're talking about the "Open File" type dialog that appears in various apps.. the contents of the "recently used" part is stored in /home/guest/.local/share/recently-used.xbel . you can just delete it( it'll be regenerated next time you open something) or edit it, removing individual <...

Question: what is the rationale behind automounting swap/solaris, type 82 partition

i guess this could be a bug(or limitation) with xfce4 or thunar or udisks or gvfs(or all) (and filemanagers in general? they are a bit stupid?) it seem that whatever is listed in /etc/fstab gets listed... could be a fault in initrd>linuxrc resulting in /mnt/<folder for each fstab listing> thunar's s...
