Unfortunately mount manager insists on using passwords.
I don't use passwords on my local network.
If I want password paranoia I use Fedora.
Any chance of getting R8 to work with samba?
If not then I'm back to adding drivers to 6.12

With every version of SLAX I've never has a problem browsing windows shares (except where Ethernet drivers missing). I have always used slax 6.12 because with samba installed I can access local drives from the windows network. This means I don't have to remove the HDD and mount it via USB or sata to...
