ok booted off usb and chose new config with Chrome. Downloaded Chrome. Enabled printing and chose correct printer. fyi - printer was working perfectly when first setup. tested printer on a windows computer and its fine.

I'm using the kiosk edition on evaluation which does free updates for period while evaluating. I can remotely get onto kiosk using ssh and configure remotely. Printing has stopped working. I suspect due to an update. Now I don't know what to do. There is no easy way for me to see if cups is running ...
