[SOLVED] Missing CD/DVD device
Thanks for looking into this. It appears that there is some sort of conflict between Porteus Kiosk and my custom-built Node.js package. No idea why as yet. The stock version of 4.8.0 (both new and original download) appears to work properly as expected.

Missing CD/DVD device
Hi,
I've enabled removable devices support. If I connect a USB device then it gets automounted in /mnt/sda1. I'm still not seeing my CD device though.
Any suggestions? TIA

[SOLVED] Missing CD/DVD device
I'm having difficulty getting Porteus to recognise my CD/DVD device. I've enabled debug mode as detailed in the FAQ. I can log in and poke around. I don't have /dev/sr0 or /dev/cdrom or /dev/dvd. In dmesg I can see that a CD driver is being loaded, but somewhere along the line the device nodes thems...

This is actually quite simple. It's taken me about 15 minutes to get it working... Create Node as a xzm package... * Download the latest version of Node as a .deb file. I got mine from here: https://deb.nodesource.com/node_10.x/pool/main/n/nodejs/ Make sure that you get the ARM64 version * Copy the ...
