Google-earth-pro-7.3.0.3827 for Porteus

@brokenman It was my fault. Sorry to mess things up

It happens to me that I try to build up modules in Aporteus/Nemesis and then try to get them work in normal Porteus. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes not. In between I learn how to strip unnecessary stuff and refine the package building process.

Google-earth-pro-7.3.0.3827 for Porteus

Oh, I see, @neko. Thanks.

Yes I have your build of Google-earth in my Aporteus Budgie :)
Now I want to get it in my Nemesis-XFCE pendrive. Got it working, but depending on which platform you use it you get poor performance (screen refresh). It's such a resource-hungry app.

Cheers!

How all this fits

I wonder how all this fits. I mean, we have Porteus Arch based, and Porteus Slack based (openrc). We have also @neko Archlinux packages manager (systemd), and other development toos he made available to everyone. Each one built from different concepts, and yet I imagine that much of the code will be...

Changing from .sng file to .cfg file with cheatcodes in it, seems a neat feature. Can this be ported to Nemesis?

the firmware files in the alsa-firmware package are already in 000-kernel module(but not as a package, hence the 'exists in filesystem' messages) and shouldn't be necessary, i think.. That make sense. I'd swear it worked before. Maybe with a previous kernel. (Using 4.14.16) have you tried? : openin...

Sound not working

Can't get sound working. I've seen http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php? ... lsa#p61806 that changing preferences from pulseaudio to alsa works, but no luck for me.

Any advice?

Cheers!

Dealing with Nemesis this weekend I've found some interesting things: pacaur -S yaourt-gui and you'll get a nice gui for you to enjoy the plethora of packages available in Arch land (although is launched in terminal) Others oneliners I've found useful given dir2xzm and xzm2dir are not working for me...
