Re: A review of porteus
I also was positively impressed by the community but I probably started to take it for granted and forgot to mention that :(. The friendly and healthy atmosphere in the community is often omitted by reviewers because it isn't considered a technical merit of the project but it positively influences t...

Re: A review of porteus
I did find so many flaws with other distributions but left their flaws with them. For me, Porteus, as you said, did surpass its own flaws while others have not. And the Voltaire's saying in your signature has an ironic touch (despite being true) because Porteus in my mind came closest to perfection ...

A review of porteus
My experience with gnu/linux systems is a big one. Of course, in my case, 'experience' means how many distributions I have tried and not something advanced. Yes, I am an ordinary user :(. But not super ordinary because I managed to install gentoo and other no-gui-installation distros so you can call...

Re: Porteus v3.2.2 - Steam Edition - PSE1.1 "Mandelbrot"
Unfortunately will fall on deaf ears. My mumbo jumbo was the exact equivalent of what I had written in English. So, maybe it won't :). I for some reason thought he understands Russian. Ivan is a pretty common Russian name also. Maybe not so common but associated with Russian culture a lot...

Re: What would you use if Porteus was not available?
Sorry if it is not relevant anymore but I wanted to list distributions that I would have used if porteus wan't available. I am a working from RAM kind of user so there are not many distributions to choose from: puppy derivatives (i would prefer slacko or fatdog out of them), there is alpine which is...

This is a very important module! At least I consider it is. Thanks, iVAN! Later I will give a more substantial review and test, but I hope you will continue to maintain such a great module! Это очень важный модуль! По крайней мере, я его считаю таковым. Спасибо, iVAN! Я потом побольше напишу и потес...

Thanks, Falcony! I hope, eventually the distribution will be listed on distrowatch. There are few Russian distributions that originated in Russia and it will be great to expand that list
. Keep up the good work!
