^^ You can not conclude so soon! 1) Nemisis, which was functioning well, failed to boot, when I shifted the folder to another partition. got stuck at 'login' screen. Previously, I saved the /home folder in 'root copy' folder. I removed that, and nemisis booted. But, Opera failed to load, complaining...

neko, Suse Linux has suggested a patch for "PTI" for 32 bit Kernel. Has it been main streamed?
Now, there is no mitigation for 'meltdown' in 32 bit kernels.

Build new Applications as xzm modules

This is to answer francois's query .. Current build of nemisis has made making new applications a breeze. First, a correction has to be made, as suggested, to /usr/local/bin/pman script..line no. 396. add, touch $WRK/package.out Reboot, and now you are ready to build your apps. open terminal, setup-...

I used Terminal and FFMPEG , the back end for winFF, for conversion. It worked. Did anyone face similar issue and solved the p...

neko,

Your new spm 18.02.18 module is not reflected in old Arch SPM commands, which came with Budgie desktop. I could see mkgoogle-earth, in /usr. Should I remove the old Arch SPM package?

Neko, 1)Please consider enabling CONFIG for MICROCODE,intel, amd ,legacy processors and MSR,CPUID, in your future Kernels. This is only a provision for hardware mitigation, and is left to the user. No harm is done to the system. 2)Please enable Intel LPSS modules (MFD), for future Porteus CONFIG ( Br...

3.2.2 migration to 4.0 problem.

In v4.0rc1, I noticed HOSTNAME is given as porteus.example.net, in /etc. Some users, look for the name 'porteus'. Hope in v4.0rc4, this is corrected to 'porteus'.
