Porteus Kernel Builder

@neko

Maybe this is the cause of failure when building Paragon

Code: Select all

 conftest.c:9:28: fatal error: ac_nonexistent.h: No such file or directory
conftest.c:9:28: fatal error: ac_nonexistent.h: No such file or directory
conftest.c:55:29: fatal error: 1/radix-tree.h: No such file or directory

Porteus Kernel Builder

@Ed_P But NTFS-3G ( FUSE based ) is very slow ( write speed ).

I have to wait a long time when copying large files ( .iso, .mp4 )

Porteus Kernel Builder

@ neko I use the kernel 4.19.56 that you built, with that kernel I can't build Paragon NTFS for Linux. Porteus 3.2.2 ( Kernel 4.9.0 ) ---> Success Porteus 3.2.2 ( Kernel 4.16.8 http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/kernel/porteus-4.16.8/ ) ---> Success Porteus 4.0 ( Kernel 4.16.3 ) ---> Success Porteus 3.2.2...

Porteus with zstd compression

Even with the kernel built by neko Porteus Kernel Builder, it allows Porteus 3.2.2 to support modules with zstd compression without modifying anything.

Porteus with zstd compression

Why not make it simple.
mymodule.xzm ---> Modules with xz compression
mymodule.zstd.xzm ---> modules with zstd compression

zactivate, zdeactivate and modify initrd (linuxrc) are not needed.

Maybe something like this would work better. #!/bin/bash if [ "$2" == "up" ] || [ "$2" == "down" ]; then echo "$2" > /tmp.test.txt else echo "$2 is not up or down" > /tmp/test.txt fi Still doesn't work $ cat /tmp/test.txt cat: /tmp/test.txt: No such fi...
