Python dependencies are hell! Image

What about using Acrobat with Wine? A friend of mine told me recently that it works.

Hmmm... Some programs have 2 versions of the main binary: a 32 bit version that will call the 64 bit version if the current machine is x64. Maybe that's the case. :unknown:

Xfce x64 module updated

I noticed 2 bugs with this update (not sure if it's related to thunar or xfdesktop, although I guess it's thunar): 1- no context menus actions on desktop; 2- no move/copy/symlink icons attached to the file/folder while we're dragging it from one folder to another (tip: press ctrl or ctrl+shift while...

@evergreen, you should also build a full xzm module instead of many little ones. :good:

I couldn't edit the first post, so the new link is in the new publication..
I'm aware of this. Still, I can't download it from the second link. Please, build a full xzm module and upload it to a website like Mediafire or teach this stupid guy how to download from your Dropbox page :D

Porteus linux on the net or on the waves of the web

I doubt it. Part of this memory consumption is Porteus itself (regardless of the DE). So less than, I guess, 120 MB is not possible even booting into text mode with no DE module loaded.

Porteus linux on the net or on the waves of the web

@Rava, it's hard to say the minimum to run the system, since it will depend of the use -- a browser, for instance, can take 1 GB of RAM pretty easily. Here are the measurements of the after-boot: ***Cinnamon x64*** RAM: 437 MB ***KDE x64*** RAM: 410 MB ***LXDE x64*** RAM: 209 MB ***LXQt x64*** RAM: ...

that would be magnificent - (if it were true). ;)
Except for your opinion (preferring app X over Y), give me some examples of Porteus 4 bugs that require the Xfce module to increase to something remotely close to the 45 MB of 3.2.2. Tip: if you know the answer, welcome to the dev team :good:
