Thanks for the quick response. I sent you the configuration file.

When changing the kiosk settings remotely and restarting the kiosk, I got an error message during the boot: "hush: arithmetic syntax error" during booting. Error message appeared after the line "copying kiosk data to RAM". The booting also stopped. I am quite sure this error message refers to syntax...
