Hi guys,
I don`t know why Chrome isn`t starting at all on my Porteus 4.0. I tried on KDE, LXDE and Mate, I tried Chromium too. The only browser that worked was Firefox. Anyone has any thoughts on this?
Thank you all for the help,
LB.

Re: 002-xorg module updated -> Xorg 1.19 + Mesa 17 + xf86plu
Hi Tome and Fulalas,
Everything seems to be working fine for me, at least for now. I used Tome's suggestions, and using LXDE and KDE with option for booting both in the same machine.
Thanks,
Lucas.

Re: trouble compiling Virtualbox
Hi everyone, I did manage to make it work. First, after talking to you my Porteus started giving an error after loading the modules. It said that was configuring vboxdrv.sh so I went into a base copy to ram and downloaded/activated the most new kernel, vmlinuz, crippled_resources and devel ( http://d...

Re: USM Module Reserve: Bundle Contributions
Hi Bogomips,
Don't know why the link for the 64 version is giving 404 error. There is a blue button (usually it directs to the download) but it is directing to the home of mail.ru
Thanks,
Lucas.

Re: trouble compiling Virtualbox
Hi Fulalas and Francois, I'm downloading it right now, and will give it a try. I have some observations that I will point at, since it can help to solve other people problems too. I don't know why my Porteus is giving a black screen after loading my modules when I try to load the devel module while ...

[SOLVED] trouble compiling Virtualbox
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble compiling Virtualbox with Vbox Builder. I don't know why, it says that vboxdrv.sh: failed: modprobe vboxdrv failed... Can someone help me solve this issue? Sharing the module could also solve temporarily the issue (at lest until it gets outdated).
Thanks,
Regards.

Video problems with laptop + tv.
Hi everyone, I tried to plug a TV on my laptop to see some movies in this weekend, something I did often with xfce. The thing is that my tv screen seemed to be with 1/3 of the image cut in the right margin. I believe that it was trying to use the same resolution of my laptop in the tv. I don't know ...

Re: Higan v102 (old console emulator)
Hi Fulalas,
I think that was the problem. I was running it as 'root' and not 'guest', so I had to copy the files again to make it work on 'root'.
Thanks and regards,
Lucas.

Re: Quicken in Linux?
A quick search with google pointed me to those 2 as the best options. I'm a little concerned because I use Quicken for 10 years and I have lots of data into the program. I was hopping that I could import all the data (or as much as possible) into the other program. The problem of these kind of chang...

Re: Higan v102 (old console emulator)
Hi Fulalas, Thanks alot for the module. Just a quick note that for Higan to work there is a need to copy all manifest.bml. They are in the downloaded Higan source, under the systems folder. Just need to copy the folders that are in the system folder on the download into /root/.local/share/higan/ and...

Hi Fulalas,
Please, could you also put a NES module here? I would really love to see some older games "in action"!
