Porteus-4.0 is in the pipeline.

I'm not that knowledgeable about this kind of stuff but will it ship with Xdmx? Looking at this https://mirrors.slackware.com/slackware/slackware-14.2/source/x/x11/configure/xorg-server it has dmx enabled but i'm not even sure porteus uses this switch. I downloaded the 4.0 version to check this but ...

Re: Language selection tool

Here is a dutch (nl_NL) po file. I also made a Frisian one, but besides me there probably won't be anyone else who is going to use it (If there is, call out to me).

Re: Community module bundle project

I already use porteus on and off for two years.
It's an awesome system, easy to fix, easy to extend and fast (even works with my video-card, which is rare lately).

Re: Community module bundle project

Sorry i guess i didn't use the search function properly. I don't really have a question but more a suggestion? I actually don't know which way i wanted to go with this. Personally i think there should be a distinction between system app/library and user app. Users don't need there apps to be ...

Re: Community module bundle project

I use portable Linux Apps for applications. This does the same as a module only not system wide, so you can't "fuck up" when you use multiple version of the same libs in your system. I use the bundles more as a system wide addon. [ http://portablelinuxapps.org/ ] The only problem i experience is tha...
