I can't find EXACT info about it. Is razor-qt discontinued? I know lxle and lxqt will co-exist but someone said 'there is no razorqt anymore'

Re: Calendar view: FirstDayOfWeek = Monday?

'first day of week' depends on locale. it works fine in razorqt debian and opensuse (cheatcode at boot time).
razorqt-panel in porteus is missing something (eg. portable media mounter not working).

I' ve never used MATE.

Re: Time config GUI

Actually changes are saved, the problem lies elsewhere.
It's 23:42 (BST), hardware clock is set to UTC - 22:42, however:

Code: Select all

guest@porteus:~$ date -u
Mon Jul 21 21:42:28 UTC 2014
guest@porteus:~$ date
Mon Jul 21 22:42:29 BST 2014

Re: USM bug reports

Re: Dual boot, LILO, GRUB2, SYSLINUX

That makes sense.
I usually use unetbootin to create live-usb.
It uses syslinux for fat32-formatted pendrive or extlinux for ext2/3/4

EDIT:

whenever I have problem with linux, I find the solution on Arch Wiki (or Gentoo).

Re: Porteus Settings Center

Im saying that there is no warning 'you are running ff as root'. if you run spacefm as root the border is red. actually the problem is that I started surfing the net as DIFFERENT user so I had no extensions and browsing history was not stored in default profile (thus I couldn't easily resume session...

Re: Time config GUI

I was not asked.
I use Porteus 3.0 installed recently but not updated (upgraded?) because I still have this error:

/usr/share/usm/funcpackageGet: line 127: declare: 234K: value too great for base (error token is "234K")

when trying to install anything.

Porteus Settings Center

Not bug but rather security issue. I launch Porteus Settings Center - I enter root password. I change date, keyboard etc. Then I click Porteus FAQ. Firefox pops up, I read FAQs then I continue surfing the net. I notice that FF extensions (Adblock, Noscript, ForceHTTPS) are not working. F**K! IM BROW...
