Hi,
I noticed when I had multiple tabs open for viewing in Firefox Porteus Mate
live usb it started stalling, the cursor would take forever to move one way or the other.
Is this normal or is it my computer's fault?

Use the chrome browser. I also have this problem using firefox (flash) but it doesn't occur in the chrome browser implementation of flash. This is probably graphic card related. It's the same under XP for me too; wasn't the case always though. Firefox doesn't run Youtube properly on Porteus at all ...
