Re: [SOLVED] Firefox 48 for 32-bit Porteus 3.1 XFCE
@neko_san :D Thanks for your instruction! In order to get Japanese version of the Newest Firefox, if I read and understand well, I should download mkslimjet-v3.2-noarch-6.xzm and order mkfirefox on command line for whole bundleed firefox in Japanese. Is this still applicable for my 32bit Porteus, si...

@francois, Salut! J'espere tout passe bien pour toi en Espagne.
I hope someone like me who struggle booting new USB drive will solve the issue with this setup,
especially on the old PC which doesn't have BIOS USB bootable option.

@neko_san, Gokigenyou! Since I needed libgtk-3.so.0 for abiword, gnumeric and gthumb, as well as new version of FF, allow me to use your bundle xzm. I thank you for your contribution. Arigatou Gozaimasu! Firefox48 for 3.1 Xfce activated, though I couldn't input in Japanese and menu is in Eng...

Re: SanDisk Ultra Dual OTG 3.0 is bootable?
@Ciao, beny! Ti ringrazio tanto! :D I activated live-usb-3.1-noarch-7.xzm (352 K) of neko's Simple USB Flash Installer and made one bootable disk with it. Thanks for your suggestion. However, it also freezes at the same point: LOADING EHCI DRIVER SEARCHING ON HOSTS HOST1 Port 2: DEVICE CONNECTED Pec...

Re: SanDisk Ultra Dual OTG 3.0 is bootable?
Ohayo Gozaimasu, francois! It's early in the morning in your city, isn't it? I'm still working on this issue. Visiting my parents home where my father has Win7 Toshiba laptop, I execute diskpart.exe to change MBR format of the disks. It takes time so during the formatting I took a hot bath watching ...

Re: SanDisk Ultra Dual OTG 3.0 is bootable?
I use PLOP Boot Manager for my 11years old PC which doesn't have USB boot option in BIOS. It works very well for me with Porteus USB drive. I like this distribution very much. I inform you I have made two bootable sticks of PQI 4GB & 8GB this morning, and will bring them to my teacher. My question i...

Re: SanDisk Ultra Dual OTG 3.0 is bootable?
@Ed_P
As I above mentioned, I use PLOP Boot Manager for USB boot.
My psi pen drive works fine with this, but SanDisk USB drive doesn't.
The order is as follows:
CD-ROM
Removable drive
Hard Disk
Thanks for your prompt reply!

Thanks, Ed_P!
Since I have a basic AMI BIOS computer, I am afraid I don't have UEFI Secure Boot option.
I read your posts in SanDisk forum too.

SOLVED! : SanDisk Ultra Dual OTG 3.0 is bootable?
Hello, everyone! I bought 2 pcs of SanDisk Ultra Dual OTG 3.0 16GB in order to make Porteus v3.1 bootable USB for my teacher. Re: Language selection tool
Gruess Gott! brokenman et al.
Do you already have someone like neko for Japanese LST Translation on this project?
If you don't have anyone yet for Japanese translation, I would like to contribute.
I even don't know how to do that. So, pls let me know the procedure.

Re: Asunder on Xfce Porteus "Kaput"
Dear fanthom and beny, It worked fine with the 7th Audio CD (J.S.Bach Best Ranking 20) both on cli and gui. :) So I assume that 6 CD-ROMs I tried have some sort of copy guard. But it is strange why "abcde" can rip the 1st CD-ROM (What Do You Say? language program) without any problem while Asunder f...

Re: Asunder on Xfce Porteus "Kaput"
Buona sera, beny!
Thank you for your attention.
I'm not so sure if it is caused by the codec, because "abcde" worked fine on the same platform.
On terminal emulator, I just put "asunder". Am I wrong?
