Problem at reboot with kernel 4.19.2

Hi brokenman, nice to hear you again!
This evening I will post the output of /var/log/Xorg of course.
I need to figure out why the manual compilation of the kernel is giving problems at the boot and no problems if I use the compiled modules (for example from neko user).
Best regards!

Problem at reboot with kernel 4.19.2

Hello dear Community of Porteus! It is not the first time that I compile and install a Linux Kernel in Porteus, but in this last week I compiled maybe 10 times the Linux Kernel v4.19.1 and 4.19.2 applying only the AUFS4 patch. To avoid corrupted patches I downloaded every time the AUFS4 patch using ...

Linux Kernel compilation "new" guide

Hello dear Porteus Users, I am back to the Forum asking for a question: is there a new (updated) guide to follow in order to compile the Linux Kernel in Porteus? I have a script that automatize all the commands, but something has changed in these last years and I missed a lot of updated in the kerne...

No, it does not work!
For this reason I extracted the sxz and made the xzm module :)

Re: Compat32-multilib for Slackware64

^ wread has recommended just renaming sxz to xzm, and that I have done for various sxz modules of live iso without problem. I suspected they (both xzm ans sxz) were the same but.... If I want to manipulate the module with "xzm2dir" I could not do this with a sxz file. For this reason I wante...

Re: Compat32-multilib for Slackware64

Ok, thanks, before posting the first message of this topic I was just having a look at the Alienbob repository. I think to have solved in this way: - Downloaded the 0050-multilib-current-x86_64.sxz from the Live Slack repository; - Extracted the content to a temp folder; - Made a new Porteus module ...

Compat32-multilib for Slackware64

Hello guys, Years ago I remember that there was a multilib package in order to install and execute 32bit-based source code and executables. Today I don't find a module (txz or xzm) but from Alienbob repository I find tons of txz packages and I don't know if I reach my goal after spending time to dow...

Re: Porteus-v3.2.1 bug reports

Hi Brokenman,

In Porteus v3.2.1 x64 (KDE and/or LXDE) I'm not able to watch videos (for example on Youtube) in HD or FullHD resolution.
My laptop is HP Spectre x360 (Intel Core i5 6th Generation Skylake). I'm trying the latest available intel video driver (downloaded through USM).
Thanks,
