great to know that.. so, if i update all the module inside the /CD_DRIVE/porteus/base/* (kernel,core,xorg,kde) , and doesn't change anything else() , will it work ? :crazy: i was thinking that porteus might be configured to be a Semi-rolling distro.. just think the possibilities.. after 5 minute of reading, i understand that systemd can load faster, and load in parallel.
i don't think systemd is crucial to porteus, because it's already very fast.. haha

as long i have my gnome, everything is great :D
