Porteus Kernel Builder

Hi @neko

Thank you for these cutting edge AUFS enabled kernels.

Would it be possible for you to make the 5.4 AUFS manually created patches available to download?

Many thanks in anticipation.

LXQt 0.12 is out

I surmise it might be MPV which is pulling in all of samba into the module.....maybe.....
pkgs.003-lxqt/pkg.mpv:
libdvdcss-1.4.2-x86_64-1 mpv-1:0.29.1-x86_64-5 smbclient-4.10.0-x86_64-3

LXQt 0.12 is out

@fulalas: Fully understood - wasn't requesting any polishing - just seeking any knowledge that @neko might possess as to why the module has increased in size so significantly between versions. If the answer is "I don't know - that's just the way it's turned out from my build method" then that's fine...

LXQt 0.12 is out

Sorry - my question was not specific enough..... I was interested in why 003-lxqt had grown so much between the previous LXQt-12/LXQt-13 module that I looked at : http://dl.porteus.org/i586/current/modules/003-lxqt.xzm to your new LXQt-14 module in your iso? Is this just down to how Qt5 and LXQt hav...

LXQt 0.12 is out

Thank you @neko

Could you say what the function is of the 003-z.lxqt.xzm and the 003-lxqt.xzm modules in the .iso?

Also, the size of the 003-lxqt.xzm module seems to have increased from 29.0MB to 46.7MB - interested to know what has caused such a large increase?

Many thanks

[SOLVED] Re: Display size

i guess you must have older (3.0 rc1/rc2?) porteus linux installation on /dev/sda2 while trying to boot from usb stick (/dev/sdb1) Very many thanks - that was indeed the problem - I'd forgotten that I'd installed an earlier version to the hard disk as you correctly analysed. So sorry to have wasted...
