I saw a post on the Porteus facebook page regarding a DuckDuckGo donation. I don't use Firefox and DDG is my secondary search engine for specific searches that I need non-customized results for.
I was just wondering if there's an affiliate link I can use instead?

It works perfectly now thanks for the help.
I was having trouble getting the script to run after elevating to root, but fortunately Porteus comes with a super user mode command line which made things a lot simpler.
Also, it was 32bit as you mentioned.
