Hi KnallKopf,
Thank you for sharing the build and scripts.
I am wondering can you add support for chan_mobile into this build?

Re: Kodi 14.2 (Updated on 4 May 2015)
Hi digitalmidge, Thanks for your interest but the module is outdated. Pls use usm to update to Kodi 15.2. # usm -g kodi The following items were found. Choose an number to confirm. ctrl+c to quit 1) kodi-15.2-x86_64-3_slack.txz #? I believe web server is default in Kodi. You will need to enable it a...

Re: The future of Porteus
Hi brokenman, Thank you for staying on and picking up the lead on Porteus. It is surely my beloved distro. Although it is not that I'm overly excited about Porteus changing it's base. But I have been staying in the comfort zone for too long. I know it would be a major overhaul. I will wait patiently...

Re: The future of Porteus
This is really a BIG news to me.
I was hoping for an update soon as it is approaching year end. It has been a long time since last update.
Hopefully Porteus team can overcome these challenges and move on.

Re: Android "Smart"phone as external drive with Porteus?
MTP is included in the latest 3.1 KDE version. Then, I really have to install/load all that is named in the linked article? ... Well, no, thanks, I am sure I try cttan's "select MTP" solution first, hopefully not needing to install anything on my XFCe Porteus... If you are on 3.1 most likely is you...

Re: Android "Smart"phone as external drive with Porteus?
The quickest way is to remove your sdcard and connect to PC, or see: http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2764&p=19090 MTP is included in the latest 3.1 KDE version. For now, your font looks custom set. How did you do this? http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/e/eager.gif (Don't tell me it ca...

Re: root mode everywhere: heresia?
@francois
I clear browser cache whenever I login to a bank site.
Other than that save data on USB. Most of the time I'm behind a router.
Normally my Porteus session last a few days. But the current session has lasted for 24 days.
I like to reboot my Porteus session.

Re: An efficient streaming box for the TV
Hi francois, I have just bought a 40" Toshiba Android TV model 40L5400VM. Installed Kodi using Google Play and tested it is working beautifully. No clutter as all is built in the TV. Android and WiFi all built in. The only disadvantage is maybe it is slower in startup comparing to old fashion TV if ...

Re: boinc???
Hi wacojohn, Sorry to have confused you. The BOINC package you downloaded from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php should be good enough. Just follow the instructions and you will be able to run it. But before all that happen, for certain program you may need to download and activate dependency a...
