Unable to install Porteus v4 and v5 to USB from both Windows and MacOS

Secure Boot is an UEFI protocol. And because (s)he has/found a switch to disable Secure Boot.... ....what kind of "BIOS" might that be? A Microsoft Surface BIOS. I have an EFI machine and I am pretty sure I have more than It simply has an enabled or disabled switch for TPM and Secure Boot. When I r...

It failed after a day or two. :( Added in 21 hours 16 minutes 26 seconds: [Solved] Firefox can't update to the latest version I believe there's actually two prefs: app.update...

changes not saved on EXIT or by dump-session

Another file to check would be the changes-exit.conf file to see if it may be impacting your changes. It's possible that the changes file only saves changes made to modules present when booting. Which from a changes file space point of view is a valid approach. Why save changes to folders which may ...

Unable to install Porteus v4 and v5 to USB from both Windows and MacOS

But my Surface Pro continues to boot from SSD even though the boot order has been changed to USB -> SSD. Any ideas? Have you disabled your EFI's Secure Boot option? On MacOS Sierra, when I navigate to the USB drive and run "sh Porteus-installer-for-Linux.com", I get the following error ... yeuwen:b...
