Hardware Compatibility

To get support for issues you may encounter kj you need to state which version of Porteus you are having problems with; x86x64, i586, Porteus Kiosk, Porteus 4, Porteus 5rc3, Cinnamon, KDE, LXDE, LXQT, Mate, Openbox, XFCE. :)

Hardware Compatibility

Hello kj, welcome to Porteus.

There is no hardware compatibility list and I doubt the flash drive is the cause. But to help we need more information. What version of Porteus is having the problem. Have you tried the flash drive in another computer?

Amazon Alexa app - no longer needed

The Amazon.com Alexa website no longer supports all of the Alexa functions, Reminders in particular. And the Amazon site refers to an app that should be downloaded but the app only runs on iOS and Android. https://www.amazon.com/b?node=18354642011 Anyone know how to get it to run on Porteus?

The problems are Cinnamon related. 5.18.5 works fine with Cinnamon 20220511.

If you have a technical problem with a release you need help with you need to post in a different section of the forum and provide more details to what you are running.
