(By the way, this forum engine is also broken -- whenever I want to post I have to clear its cookies first)
I have problems logging in, linux and windows, but no problem with cookies on either system.

if you do not change the directory to run the script the installer look always to the system root that is the /dev/sda3.
Yes, an excellent point beny. Change to the directory the installer is in before running it.

Can't log in to porteus.org

Same for me too. What I find when I eventually get on is the other registered users signed on are search engines and the most signed on users is at best 5.

Is this what you mean? https://plug-mirror.rcac.purdue.edu/slackware/slackware64/slackware64/ap/ That downloads: inxi-3.3.12_1-noarch-1.txz A nice link but I was thinking more along the lines of one like this: https://plug-mirror.rcac.purdue.edu/slackware/slackware64/slackware64/ap/inxi-3.3.12_1-no...

The Porteus menu's Administration > Porteus System Info app supplys hardware info. More searching 'n found inxi-3.3.12_1-noarch-1.txz at pkgs.org Slackware 15.0. Converted that to a module 'n now both those commands work...tho that inxi -Fxzc0 seems a bit long... Can you post a link to your module?

Hardware Compatibility

Hello kj, welcome to Porteus.

There is no hardware compatibility list and I doubt the flash drive is the cause. But to help we need more information. What version of Porteus is having the problem. Have you tried the flash drive in another computer?

Amazon Alexa app - no longer needed

The Amazon.com Alexa website no longer supports all of the Alexa functions, Reminders in particular. And the Amazon site refers to an app that should be downloaded but the app only runs on iOS and Android. https://www.amazon.com/b?node=18354642011 Anyone know how to get it to run on Porteus?
