Just tried both of your links. I agree, they work, however, why is it that didn't / don't I experience any of these problems with 2.1?
Also, tried it with VLC on Windows 7 32-Bit. It also functions there.

Thank you for checking out the problem. The funny thing is that it worked on Porteus Mate 2.1, 32 Bit. Opening it as a file or a playlist didn't make a difference either.
