We're lucky to have minds like this that are actively public. She is the ideal spokeswoman for mother earth. Educated and sympathetic.
I could not have said it any better.

I presume you also listened to her in person?

Jack's version of Porteus 4.0 x86-64 - 3 Desktop's

I just thought I will need to build a 32 bit Porteus 4.0 USB to use brokenman script file. At least creating XZM modules works fine, I created lots of 32 bit modules running x86-64 Porteus, and also created 64 bit modules when running a 32 bit machine / running on 32 bit Porteus. When it comes to c...

When I get time and download the needed files I will build them. That way I can help both 32 and 64 bits Porteus 4.0 OS.

I don't have a 32bit Computer or I would have built that version to.
You can run and create 32 bit Porteus or any other Linux on a x86-64 machine just fine... just the other way round, trying to run a x86-64 bit Linux on a 32 bit only machine will not work... *nudge nudge* :D

Thunar File associations

This context menu thing is set through mime types, and it's a pain in the ass to correctly set. The idea is to put the mime types (essentially file extensions) you want inside /usr/share/applications/[app].desktop at the mime type section. To set the default program for each mime type, you should l...

Thanks beny & donald The Trick with adding [playlist] doesn't work. Thats the default first line for .pls playlists but I use .m3u for video playlists. I wrote a script that only adds video files from a folder into a playlist file named just like the folder. Doing so with .m3u is the easiest cause i...

How does one set up file associations to programs in XFCe?
