Google-earth-pro-7.3.0.3827 for Porteus

I am sorry, I should have mentioned your missing dependencies for this application. Google-earth-pro is an X program and as such runs in all 64-bit versions of Porteus. Enter Slackware64 Packages current and download - gstreamer-1.12.4-x86_64, - gst-plugins-base-1.12.4-x86_64-2 and you should be run...

Google-earth-pro-7.3.0.3827 for Porteus

@brokenman Jay, I guess you have a broken download...you can make following test: Start your system in text mode, bring IN up (I used pns-tool for my test), start x by typing xinit. Then start googleearth by typing "google-earth-pro" That works for me problemlos. If it does not for you, your downloa...

Transmission-qt5-2.92.5 for Porteus

Transmission is a fast, easy and free torrent client.
I packaged it in its qt5 version for Porteus. You will also need openssl-1.1 which I include in the download folder.

Enjoy!

Google-earth-pro-7.3.0.3827 for Porteus

@all Google Earth is one of the most downloaded applications for Porteus. In my repo at mediafire I count 425 downloads now (I seem to be the de-facto maintainer of GE for Porteus). B) Google Earth has discontinued the Free edition, making the Pro edition now free. You can dowload the pro-version fr...

Trojita-0.7 for Porteus

Trojita is a light mail client for IMAP servers developed for the qt platform. It is fast and cross-platform and uses the available resources very efficiently. Download it from here . This version is Qt-5 dependent and I have tested it on Porteus KDE5 successfully. WARNING: Trojita won't work on POP...

3.2.2 migration to 4.0 problem.

I was updating my kde5 last week end and got also a black screen....
Culprit was a duplicated version of icu4c's, 56 and 60 in 001-core and 002-xorg. It took me 3 evenings to solve the problem...I will take a look at cinnamons case again..

container file system advice

@rych I do not have a changes file. I make a module of my changes every time I build or install a new application. Then I put them all together in a folder named Settings, contained in modules. Then I have: myDolphin.xzm myDTSettings.xzm (desktop settings) myKBSettings.xzm (keyboard settings) myKDEC...

3.2.2 migration to 4.0 problem.

Here my research on Porteus-4.0-cinnamon: First I moved NetworkManager to 002-xorg. It is not culprit of NM. Jay was right! Then I moved 003-cinnamon to "optional" and started Porteus in text mode. Xorg seems to be ok. Activated 003-cinnamon and started it under X and there came the clue: by activat...
